Ensuring Uninterrupted Communication: Whitelisting Us for Important Updates

In the ever-evolving landscape of digital communication, email providers are implementing stricter authentication standards to enhance security and protect users from unwanted emails or phishing attempts. While these measures are crucial for keeping your inbox clear of SPAM, they can inadvertently lead to important communications being filtered out.

To ensure that you don't miss out on crucial updates, it's essential to add us to your email provider's "whitelist." This simple action will designate our emails as safe and ensure they reach your inbox without any issues. There are two ways to accomplish this. First, you can simply add us as a contact. Be sure to include team@lumenafinancial.com as one of those contacts. Secondly, you can create a filter rule that tells your email provider to send our emails to your Inbox folder which essentially 'whitelists" them. Below are instructions on how to whitelist our emails for some popular email providers:

Gmail:

  1. Open Gmail and navigate to the "Settings" by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select "See all settings."
  3. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  4. Click on "Create a new filter."
  5. In the "From" field, enter our email address (team@lumenafinancial.com).
  6. Click on "Create filter."
  7. Check the box next to "Never send it to Spam."
  8. Click on "Create filter."

Yahoo:

  1. Log in to your Yahoo account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select "More Settings."
  3. Choose "Filters" from the left sidebar.
  4. Click on "Add new filters" to create a new filter.
  5. Enter a "Filter Name",  we suggest "Lumena Financial"
  6. Under "Set Rules" and under "From" select the dropdown next to "Select a filter criterion" and choose "contains". In the "type a filter value" field, enter our email address (team@lumenafinancial.com).
  7. Under "Choose a folder to move to" enter the text "Inbox" in the "Folder Name" field.
  8. Click on "Save."
