Creative Director
Caresse Vera leads the development of client education resources, communication initiatives, and engagement programs at Lumena Financial Strategies.
Caresse began her career in the financial services industry in 2007 as Division Administrative Assistant at Waddell & Reed, where she first worked alongside Alison. She later worked in executive support and digital marketing consulting before joining the Lumena team in 2015. Her strengths in creative design, technology, and marketing helped shape the role she serves in today.
As Creative Director, she develops educational resources, communication programs, and engagement initiatives designed to keep clients informed and connected. Her passion for lifelong learning led her to create the Financial Literacy Hub, an educational platform designed to support clients and their families across generations. She also manages all client events, including the firm’s Monthly Educational Webinar Series and live client gatherings.
In 2025, she led a breakout session on AI for marketing efficiency at LPL Financial’s annual FOCUS conference. She was featured in Elevate Magazine, a national publication for financial marketing professionals, where she shared insights on the importance of relatable storytelling in client communication. She is an active member of the Financial Marketers Mastermind, a professional peer group focused on advancing marketing strategy and operational excellence within financial services firms.
Caresse completed the Digital Marketing Strategy Certificate Program through Harvard Business School Online in 2024 and continues to expand her knowledge of marketing, communication, and emerging technologies. A lifelong learner, she is passionate about exploring new tools and ideas that can enhance education, engagement, and the client experience. She is also a commissioned Notary Public and provides notary services at no charge to Lumena Financial Strategies clients.
