Caresse Vera joined Waddell & Reed in 2007 as the Division Administrative Assistant in the Torrance Division Office. Her role in the division included overseeing portions of office operations and supporting Alison as well as more than 20 advisors and their staff. She left Waddell & Reed in 2013 to pursue other opportunities including web design and marketing.
Caresse’s strength in the area of technology, marketing and office efficiency led to an opportunity for her to join the practice in 2015. Caresse is responsible for managing the consistency of the Lumena brand in all communication including the design of invitations, postcards, and other printed material. She produces Lumena Financials' educational webinar series, is responsible for management of live events and plays a lead role in the daily operations of the office, coordinating with all other members of the team. Her depth of experience combined with her artistic and creative abilities allows her to provide input and support in numerous aspects of the practice.
Caresse obtained her Notary Public appointment in June of 2019. She offers services free of charge exclusively to clients of Lumena Financial Strategies.
Caresse was born and raised in Pico Rivera, CA and has a wide variety of personal interests. She is a world traveler, makes custom jewelry, has a talent for learning languages, and is constantly expanding her knowledge in the area of marketing and design technology. Caresse loves to explore the San Diego community and still considers herself a tourist in her new hometown. She looks forward to becoming more involved in the community and expanding her creative endeavors.
