Brody Fleming

Brody Fleming leads Lumena’s evaluation and adoption of emerging AI tools to
improve efficiency and quality of service for our clients.

Brody joined Lumena Financial Strategies full time in August 2026 and was already familiar
with the systems and tools that were being used, having worked part-time with the team
throughout his five years of college. As AI tools became more prevalent in every area of
business, it became clear that most members of the team did not have the knowledge
needed to take advantage of opportunities in this area. As the creator of the AI Research
and Development Specialist position, Brody researches LPL’s approved AI tools,
determines which of them works best for each project, and keeps the team informed about
technologies that can strengthen its work. He translates new developments into practical
guidance, helping the team determine which tools are useful, appropriate, and aligned
with Lumena's needs.

Brody holds a bachelor’s degree in Cinema Production and graduated in mid-2026 from
the University of Colorado Boulder. He has worked with AI tools since 2019 and used them
throughout school to streamline his creative process without replacing his own ideas or
work. This experience shaped his belief that AI is most valuable when it supports people
and gives them more time and energy to focus on the areas where their judgment and
creativity matter most.

What Brody values most at Lumena is the welcoming environment created for both clients
and team members, the team’s willingness to adapt with the times, and the firm
commitment to helping people from all walks of life manage their finances.
Brody was born in Torrance, CA and raised primarily in San Diego. At home, he enjoys
playing video games and learning to cook new dishes but one of his favorite things to do is
travel. He has been to El Salvador twice with teams from Compassion International and
helped build homes in Mexico with Come Build Hope. His personal travels have taken him
to destinations throughout the United States and around the world, including Greece,
Taiwan, France, Canada, England, Ireland, Switzerland, Hawaii, Alaska, and the
Caribbean
